2-1/2 - 3-1/2 yrs
Creative Castle’s 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 year old (caregiver & child) art classes are designed to introduce your young child to many new and very important physical, cognative, social and language skills using basic art concepts, tools and materials.
Your child will enjoy interactive playtime and socialization activities that correlate with our theme or art concept for the day including:
- creative movement
- music
- games
- puppets
- storytime
Every week your child will engage in open ended art explorations that include:
- drawing
- painting
- sculpting
- stamping
To expand on your childs developing skills the 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 age group will also be introduced to:
- gluing
- cutting
- print making
- color mixing
- lacing
These explorations give your child the opportunity to develop awareness, appreciation, and sensitivity for the visual world around them and all of its possibilities.
At the end of each class your child is praised for their accomplishments and is awarded a ribbon to wear with pride.
